Der Salzstadel

The rooms of the Salzstadel impress with their charisma and ambience - an impressive combination of historical backdrop and discreetly modern interior design. The municipal salt barn to the east of the Stone Bridge in Regensburg's Old Town was built between 1616 and 1620, complementing the older and smaller Amberg barn to the west of the bridge. The municipal salt barn was built to store rock salt or table salt. The building has a conference room, a foyer and two large halls, the Brück- and Kräncher-Saal. These can be used for exhibitions as well as other events such as lectures, receptions, workshops, weddings and company celebrations.
